Buddy Bradley, is a brilliant but "ghost choreographer" for stage and screen during the heyday of Broadway's Ziegfeld Follies and Hollywood's epic "Golden Age." Buddy Bradley, a dazzling, talented black dancer, inspired choreographer, and highly respected teacher, worked his magic throughout the major entertainment venues of his time, but was virtually 'anonymous' - beyond the entertainment industry - to American audiences.
He was, however, a creative genius behind such legendary dancing greats as Fred Astaire, his sister and Ziegfeld Follies featured dancer Adele Astaire, Ruby Keeler, and even the famed musical director and choreographer Busby Berkley, to name a few. From Harlem, to Broadway, to Hollywood and even London, BUDDY brings to life the times and legacy of this talented but unknown icon to the screen.
