The Advocate is based on a true story. It is the here and now. For the past twenty years Angela Lawson has been the person victims of crime and misfortune in the City of Los Angeles could turn to for help. Angela, is a morally driven woman, who has championed the causes of the underprivileged, the disenfranchised and, the poor with limited resources at her disposal. Angela stands firm in her believe that a level playing field should exist for all of Los Angeles’ citizens regardless of race, creed of color, when it comes to access to social services, justice under the law and all around fair play for the denizens of Los Angeles. As a crusader for fair play and justice under the law, Angela singlehandedly protects the rights of the disadvantaged Los Angeleans, who otherwise would have difficulty attaining an adequate legal remedy to their individual circumstance. When all seems lost, Angela Lawson, is that ray of hope, for many of the people in Los Angles that helps them get up in the morning and make it through the day.
Growfellas is based on a true story. Set in the present day when recreational drugs reigned supreme throughout the country but no where was this lifestyle more prevalent than in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is a time of generosity; when a man of ambition can realize the American Dream. One such man is Alberto “Flippo” Donatelli, an Italian American, who resides in South Philly.
New York is still the dominion where fortunes are made and empires are built. New York City remains the command center of the domain where individuals, partnerships and corporate entities reside as they navigate the dangerous waters of free enterprise on an ever expanding global playing field. Yet, these are strange days for it is a time of chaos and conflict that has engulfed the Big Apple. Yet, as the ancient Greeks, themselves, learned, out of chaos comes order. These unsettling times have created an opportunity for those who are creative, resourceful and ruthless. It is now a time for those, who possess such skills to step forward and realize their dreams of attaining immense possessions, prestige and power. One such person is Century Diamond, a young free spirit, recent college graduate in her early twenties with a body to kill for. Century is a beautiful, cultured, self-assured young woman, and like Julius Caesar before her, Century came into New York and “veni vidi vici.” She came, she saw and she conquered.
Lost Vegas is the story behind what many considered to be the most elegant hotel-casino to be built in Las Vegas during the last days of Jim Crow; the Moulin Rouge. Legendary figures of the Mob helped build the hotel-casino. Lost Vegas is the story of second chances. Lost Vegas offered another chance at success for a couple of hucksters from back east and offered a new lease on life for one of the world’s most prominent figures of the nineteen thirties and forties. Lost Vegas is the story of paradise in the Mojave Desert where untold wealth and prosperity reign supreme in short order. However, like the Bible’s paradise lost, the Garden of Eden, so it is with The Moulin Rouge, a paradise lost as a result of the seeds sown by the Seven Deadly Sins.
